Analyst - Planning Data & Reporting

Job Overview
Overview
Crocs, Inc. is seeking an expert Power BI developer for the Planning Data Analytics & Experimentation team within Global Merchandise Planning & Inventory Management, based at our Gurgaon, India office (hybrid). This is a dual-focus role - roughly 80% dedicated to reporting and business intelligence and 20% to supporting the team's testing and experimentation work - where you will help drive the business forward by improving the reporting, analytics, and testing functions within the planning department.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain expert-level Power BI reports and dashboards, applying data visualization and report-design best practices (layout, accessibility, performance, and user experience).
- Write and optimize SQL against Snowflake, and build, update, and maintain Power BI semantic models (star-schema models, relationships, and DAX measures).
- Translate business and planning questions into effective reports, partnering with stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritize requirements.
- Help make planning data "AI-ready" and support enabling AI agents and Copilot experiences on our data - testing, validating, and refining their outputs.
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting and data requests, troubleshoot bugs, and deliver enhancements to existing reports and models.
- Proactively monitor key data and reports to catch issues early, and alert the user group when problems are identified.
- Support the team's testing and experimentation work - pulling data, building analyses, and applying sound statistical reasoning (standard deviation, confidence levels, and statistical significance).
- BS or BA in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Analytics) - or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data / reporting roles.
- Expert-level Power BI front-end development, including DAX, Power Query (M), and a strong sense for data visualization and report design.
- Strong SQL skills and experience querying cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred), plus hands on experience building and maintaining Power BI semantic / data models (star schema, relationships, and DAX measures).
- Solid grounding in statistics - comfortable with standard deviation, confidence intervals, and statistical significance.
- Comfort with AI and generative-AI tools for analytics, and an interest in helping make data AI-ready and enabling AI on business data.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability, or any other protected classification.
