Overview

Crocs is hiring a Digital Merchandising Manager to help drive the globally aligned merchandising vision for Crocs, the industry-leading casual footwear brand. As a Merchandising Manager, you are responsible for adopting the brand vision for the consumer, as well as identifying local product opportunities specific to the India Digital Platforms i.e Crocs.in and marketplaces. The successful candidate would be expected to have a clear point of view on consumer segmentation with experience leading multiple Marketplace assortments. This person will play a key role in both pre-season assortment planning and in-season trading to ensure that the financial goals are met. 

 

Role is based in Gurgaon. 6 Month Contract 

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for crafting and planning consumer-right assortments using the Global Must Buy and Elective seasonal assortments for .COM, Marketplaces & Etail accounts. 
  • Work closely with the broader Digital Commerce team for India to align on Seasonal GTM. Ensure the team are fully informed on product strategy and Seasonal focuses. 
  • Build promotion lists, align promotional pricing to monthly gross margin targets. 
  • Build overall go-to-market plans to improve conversion and engagement. 
  • Superuser for O9 assortment planning tool. 
  • Maintain merchandising master file and Seasonal Line lists as needed. 
  • Build weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and share with broader team. Provide seasonal Hindsight and narrative. 
  • Set monthly Discount / ASP Pre-season, and collaborate with Planning to update In-season sales forecast based on the latest promotion calendar. 
  • Maintain consumer focus by using consumer insights, conducting competitor click-throughs and staying on top of market macro environment shifts and trends. 
  • Supervise ASP, Product Margin, Gross margin and Discount rate to ensure positive progression across all key metrics and opportunity. 
  • Develop consumer right assortments, oversea allocation plans and ensure inventory is optimized across platforms. 
  • Work with Planner to understand inventory gaps to forecast and evaluate business risk associated. 
  • Complete regular analysis of in-season product and promotional performance, comprehensively communicate to all partners, and play forward findings for future planning.
  • Build Merchandising Financial Plan for across Channel.
  • Drive product strategy for Etail accounts. Work closely with Planning counterpart to gather demand requirements and drive the assortment strategy to accelerate growth.
  • Collaborate with Digital marketing team to ensure effective GTM execution.
  • Collaborate on content to help identify key styles for marketing support.
  • Actively participate in Seasonal sell-in and Brand shows, providing product information as needed. 
  • Complete ad hoc tasks including inventory transfers, MSRP setting, inventory checks, promotion list alignment, customs enquiries, catalogue creation. 

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Graduate/Post-graduate. 
  • 5+ years of appropriate Work Experience in eCommerce Merchandising 
  • Identify and leverage emerging trends and standard processes in the marketplace to ensure the most effective merchandising. 
  • Strong understanding of market competition, consumer and market trends 
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
