The Vice President, Program Management and Operations is a leadership position in the Global Information Technology organization. As a strategic leader in IT, responsibilities include ensuring alignment of IT initiatives with the company's broader business objectives, quality execution of initiatives through rigorous program management practices, and effective utilization of IT department resources.


This role will have direct influence and participation in strategy and enterprise or high-risk initiatives (Level 1 roadmap initiatives). They will lead the operational and strategic management of IT Services and create a framework and structure for vendor, budget, and portfolio management. This role has direct involvement and engages in detailed tasks essential in ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects, optimizing processes, and supporting the company’s technology strategy and initiatives through effective program management. As a senior leader, they will drive and align communications across IT and business stakeholders, interact with cross-functional leaders across Crocs Inc US and international locations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead IT strategy & roadmap efforts by providing vison, direction, and governance.
  • Oversee the delivery of the IT roadmap, ensuring transparent executive communication and the coordinated advancement of multiple interdependent projects.
  • Facilitate the IT financial process, including Long Range Planning, Annual Operating Plans and Quarterly Updates.
  • Establish and oversee the portfolio management process including intake, approval and closure.
  • Communicate and collaborate on the portfolio of IT programs, cascading information to senior leaders and working with domain program managers to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Coordinate and execute IT portfolio communications, ensuring clear and effective collaboration across teams on priority and project delivery and success.
  • Identify and mitigate risks across the project portfolio, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with domain project managers and teams to deliver projects successfully including being tactical where needed to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across different projects and teams, ensuring alignment and resource optimization.
  • Establish and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools to support successful project execution.
  • Drive a culture of problem solving by working with teams to develop frameworks and capabilities.
  • Develop a framework for efficient resource allocation, addressing offshore vs. onshore decisions, service agreements vs independent contractors, and internal vs. external staffing.  Identify efficiency opportunities across IT teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and implementing best practices in project management and agile methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement, IT application owners and key technology vendors and service providers to ensure the company receives the best value and service.
  • Develop strong relationships with regional leaders, external partners, and vendors.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on strategic planning, governance, and project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance, program management frameworks.
  • Proven experience in driving and managing international programs and implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management abilities.
  • Good understanding of the company’s overall business operations and products.
  • Ability to successfully implement and control business plans and budgets.
  • Effective communication skills with ability to provide technical information to both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business issues, requirements and objectives into technical solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of IT business processes and practices.
  • Proven skill and ability to analyze complex problems and break them down into logical, actionable parts.
  • Ability to adapt and pivot quickly to address evolving priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Proven track record of driving change and innovation within IT organizations.
  • High level of integrity and judgment, with the ability to make decisions that balance business needs with IT capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills.

Salary or Pay Range: $290,000 - $300,000  

Workplace Persona: Collaborator  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

 

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
