The role of Manager, Master Data Management is a key leadership position within the Financials Systems organization, reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of Master Data Management. This role will lead a U.S. based team while collaborating within a larger global team. The ideal candidate will also be a data champion for the Business within the Global Master Data team by having a solid understanding of master data within SAP AFS, being responsible for monitoring and maintaining data quality, and taking corrective actions when necessary.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the team who owns material creation and all associated data on material master screens as well as financial master data.
  • Responsible for owning, maintaining and consulting 4-5 MDM data objects.
  • Coordinate MDM tool selections for process improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to gather required information and execute Business master data needs.
  • Collaborate with Centric on material setup in PLM to SAP.
  • Act as Master Data subject matter expert (SME) – researching and resolving MDM issues.
  • Responsible for maintaining and enforcing standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues.
  • Engaging and collaborating with senior leaders and peers in evolving Master Data Management within the organization’s applications and processes.
  • Supervise recurring exception reports and initiate data clean-up opportunities.
  • Become proficient in available tools used to load data.
  • Work closely with SAP IT and engage in related SAP projects.
  • Act as backup resource for all other data objects not included in specific job duties.
  • Provide input in the analysis, design, enhancement and implementation of business applications to support internal business functions.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Minimum 2+ years of leading direct reports.
  • Preferred experience working in an ERP environment, inclusive of SAP and Master Data Management tools.
  • Preferred experience with Master Data Management tools.
  • Minimum 5+ years of applicable experience working with SAP master data, with a solid grasp of how it applies to the business.
  • Experience with RPA and data automation a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with international teams preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail, and follow-up abilities required.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Salary or Pay Range: $108,000 - $118,000  

Workplace Persona: Collaborator  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

 

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
