Overview
The Account Manager will support business development and growth of retail relationships in the Specialty Channel targeting Elevated Distribution; to achieve or exceed sales and profitability objectives; selling to and leading all accounts and prospects as assigned by HEYDUDE; handling sell-thru and performance of HEYDUDE products and running long-term development of the HEYDUDE brand with its retailer partners. This role identifies marketplace opportunities, prospects, and engages new customers, prepares strategic sales presentations, and will be responsible for account management.
What You'll Do

- Use your network to engage with key players.
- Pioneer new businesses, formulate a strategy to gain increased market share.
- Provide marketplace and consumer insights to brand and leadership team (competitor information, consumer understanding, account performance ,current/future market penetration.
- Actively participate in account and HEYDUDE meetings including pre-lines, monthly and seasonal business reviews and sales meetings.
- Lead sell-in and sell-through for assigned accounts in collaboration with merchandising, marketing, and planning.
- Accountable for pre-book and at-once sales built around a quality assortment of product to ensure growth in the channel.
- Drive top and bottom-line numbers for your assigned account base using strong intuition for business and retail math abilities.
- Manage allocation and model stocks to ensure appropriate inventory levels for successful business outcomes and build a market based on customer demand.
- Maintain updated account and sales records, analyze and report selling information into the company on a weekly basis for key accounts.
- Communicate consistently and efficiently with HEYDUDE business units including sales management, customer service, demand planning, finance, etc.
- Influence management routinely of challenges and opportunities while offering recommended solutions when needed.
- Maintain a consistent frequency of in-store visitation to ensure execution of brand presence, visual roll-out/events, driving turn and door volume.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- 5-7 years of industry sales experience required; footwear experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of US retail and wholesale footwear landscape with an emphasis on the fashion space.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Power Point.
- Ability to conduct company and department ethical standards; will make decisions with the best interest of the team, company, and our brand in mind.
- BA or BS degree required.
- Fluency in English required.
- Frequent travel 50%+, overnight, night and weekend work may be required

Salary or Pay Range: $144,000-$154,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
