Overview

The Crocs Inc Digital team is a rapidly growing team excited to welcome a new teammate!

The Principal Digital Developer is responsible for progressive enhancement of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C storefront back-end code. This new teammate will also be charged with informing the business of feasibility, timelines and potential risks. The Developer will be well-versed in back-end development such as API integrations (OCAPI, SCAPI, external) especially payment integrations, SFCC jobs.

What You'll Do

Web Development

  • Coordinate with Project Management, UX, and Development teams to code and deliver complex SFCC web and app projects.
  • Build solid HTML/CSS, cross-browser, cross-device compatible pages.
  • Troubleshoot bugs within a complex, global code base.
  • Maintain existing Crocs code and assets.
  • Devise solutions while conveying benefits, risks, and pitfalls.
  • Provide a level of effort for all project requests, provide direction on the scope, and share out practicality.

Process Improvement

  • Drive web development initiatives to continually enhance and optimize Crocs' e-commerce infrastructure

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelors or equivalent professional experience, experience in Computer Science or a related program, or CS education in a web development program.
  • 10+ years as a web developer, 4-5+ years with SFCC/Demandware.
  • Highly skilled in SFCC/Demandware API and development patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (and frameworks like React and jQuery), Cross-browser compatibility, and W3C compatibility.
  • You've Architected and led the completion of several large projects (integrations, APIs, refactoring, etc.).
  • Familiarity with code repository systems (we use Git).
  • Extensive experience with responsive design along with hands on work using wireframing tools.
  • An understanding of mobile and web-based design constraints, editors, browser platforms, and their differences.
  • Working knowledge of the standard suite of accessibility tools (screen readers, etc.).
  • Working understanding of how design impacts front-end HTML development and accessibility requirements and how to code for accessibility.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize effectively and independently.
  • You can make decisions and address problems quickly while working against competing milestones.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and synthesize recommendations.
  • You have a proven history of thinking strategically - anticipating future trends, needs, and expectations.

Title: Principal Digital Developer 

Salary or Pay Range: $145,000 - $160,000  

Workplace Persona: Explorer  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

 

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
