Overview
Our Sr. Merchandising Manager for Crocs will be responsible for driving strategies and results in a high growth business for Americas Retail. This individual is responsible for merchandising an assortment that supports key items, strategies, and current trends that will enable financial goals of the Americas retail channel. The position will report to the Director Retail Merchandising and will own, influence and drive strategies and financial targets. The Sr. Merchandising Manager will engage with a number of cross-functional teams including Brand Product, Design, Planning, Allocation, Demand and Supply Planning, Visual Merchandising, GTM, Retail Field/Operations, and Marketing.
What You'll Do
- Partner with leadership to gain alignment with Brand Product and Planning teams on long range planning and implement strategies to support. Align product briefs to range plans and MFP plans.
- Drive a deep understanding of the retail customer. Apply insights to product assortments and Go to Market strategies.
- Support the development of merchandising team members through coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities.
- Responsible for financial results for multiple product categories (12-18 months), as well as Monthly GTM Strategies, Global Product assortment, visual and marketing presentation, and allocation strategies
- Shape line to help deliver needs for the consumer – working pre-season & long range (18-24 months)
- Select from the line the product that will drive sales – understanding key item needs and #s to drive sales
- Develops gender, channel, silhouette buy plans and handles the open to buy
- Build assortment plans for stores that achieve style-color count targets and efficiency targets while crafting a customer experience that is cohesive with the brand and channel initiatives. Analyze and incorporate field feedback and identify revenue-driving opportunities that evolve store assortments over time
- Ensure cohesion across storytelling and cross category
- Develop/Own the pricing & promotion strategy for multiple product categories in the America’s region
- Review, monitor and react to in season buying plans, sales reports, forecasts inventory levels, weeks of supply, gross margin, inventory turn, and markdown management
- Shop company excess each week and identify excess opportunities to achieve updated forecasts
- Prepare and present quarterly product line plans and GTM strategy to senior leadership prior to placing buys
- Collaborate on visual merchandising and store layout to support merchandise assortments
- Work with cross functional teams within Americas Retail to distribute monthly GTM content for our field team
What You'll Bring to the Table
- BS or BA in business, business, marketing, or related field/ equivalent years of relevant and related experience
- 10+ years of buying experience preferably in the footwear or apparel industry
- Solid understanding of assortments and shopper patterns
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop merchandising team members, fostering growth through coaching, performance feedback, and skill-building opportunities.
- Ability to optimally communicate and share information
- Ability to demonstrate leadership in the Americas team, and collaborate well with both partners, and team members to develop regional strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize, handle and meet deadlines
- Optimally manage time and operate with sense of urgency
- Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions

Salary or Pay Range: $135,000 - $145,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
