Reporting to the Sr. Director of NA Merchandising, the Sr. Merchandising Manager will be the lead for both the Family and Sporting Goods channels.  This role is responsible for driving seasonal product assortments and strategies that are informed by consumer and business insights and deliver on financial targets.  You will be a key collaborative partner across functions like Planning, Marketing, Sales and Category Management providing insights and clear communication to align and drive a seasonal strategy and direction.  As a channel lead you will be the go-to guide for marketplace trends, the competitive landscape and your consumer’s mindset; using those insights to both influence and increase the product offer.

What You'll Do

•    Build seasonal tools and assortments that serve the consumer, deliver growth and align to larger Brand initiatives.
•    Leverage both consumer and business trends, planning and sell through data, and translate them into clear actions that inform both current and future product assortments and strategies.
•    Drive assortment segmentation with intent based on Merchandising strategy and marketplace business needs. 
•    Ensure assortments comp key products and protect volume, but also deliver newness to drive incremental growth and whitespace opportunities for the brand.
•    Develop and maintain relationships with cross functional partners to ensure alignment and collaboration at all key decision points.
•    Lead and present at key breakthrough meetings both internally and to external partners.
•    Think strategically by balancing long-term strategic plans with day-to-day activities.
•    Lead through empowerment, focusing on people development, encouraging a culture of curiosity, consumer centricity and analysis.
•    Lead and develop support team members.

What You'll Bring to the Table

•    Strong product sense with proven experience in driving product assortments.
•    8 years of proven experience in Merchandising or Buying roles.
•    Previous team management experience.
•    Strong organizational skills & attention to detail and deadlines. 
•    Knowledge of footwear product creation process, timeline and terminology. 
•    Comfortable with conducting presentations virtually and in-person to large groups, including leadership and external partners. 
•    Able to analyze retail and financial data to develop and deliver capacity targets and unit and revenue goals.
•    Must be Excel savvy and be able to use pivot tables, vlookups, charts, etc. 
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage others as well as navigating difficult conversations with partners and cross functional team members.
•    Ability to lead with empowerment, agility, and emotional intelligence.
•    Must be comfortable in a fast-paced and matrixed environment with high degree of collaboration.
•    Must be able to travel regionally.
•    Experience within PLM system (Centric or similar)

Salary or Pay Range: $165,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.


This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
