Overview

The Sr. Copywriter for HEYDUDE is responsible for shaping, elevating, and protecting the global brand voice across all consumer touchpoints. Reporting into the Creative team, this role partners closely with Integrated Marketing, Product, Digital Design, E-commerce, Wholesale, and Retail teams to develop compelling, on-brand copy that drives engagement and commercial impact across channels.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the development and execution of compelling, on-brand copy across all HEYDUDE channels, globally.
  • Work with Social Media team to help guide consistent messaging.
  • Work with VP of creative and creative team to maintain and evolve brand tone-of-voice.
  • Work with VP of creative and creative team to develop overarching seasonal brand copy that guides downstream marketing and channel activations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Integrated Marketing, Product, Creative, Digital, E-commerce, Wholesale, and Retail teams.
  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams to develop product feature/benefit copy and brand storytelling.
  • Support day-to-day marketing needs including campaign copy, ecommerce content, emails, headlines, and CTAs.
  • Contribute to brainstorming, concept development, headline creation, and copy reviews across initiative

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field - or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in copywriting, marketing, or brand storytelling; footwear or fashion experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, e-commerce writing, and direct-to-consumer marketing best practices.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, grammar, and advertising writing styles.
  • Proven ability to proofread, edit, and elevate a wide range of marketing and business materials.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Portfolio demonstrating high-quality creative thinking, brand storytelling, and execution excellence.

Title: Sr. Copywriter 

Salary or Pay Range: $87,000 - $97,000 

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
