Overview

The Creative Operations Specialist is a key position within the HEYDUDE creative team who will help lead creative projects and deliverables for the team. This person will thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment, will have a highly collaborative working style, and will adopt feedback. The right candidate will keep the team running smoothly and on time, working to support multiple business areas. The scope of projects ranges from photography production, print and digital advertising, catalogs, in-store materials, event support and more. 

What You'll Do

  • Support Creative Operations Manager to run department projects and deliverables — build schedules, facilitate approvals, work with designers and writers, edit & proofread work against briefs, and lead delivery of final assets.
  • Handle workflow, schedules, footwear samples, and post-production schedules for all in-house photography and videography. Work with the Photographer and Videographer to develop a process for efficient asset management and distribution of all content collected in-house.
  • This role will lead the creative briefing system; identify and implement improvements and system updates and back-end development to meet the needs of the creative and marketing teams.
  • Own the internal digital asset management site; organize assets, communicate updates to partners, and monitor imagery usage rights in partnership with Brand Marketing Coordinator.
  • Support direct manager in setting up vendors, vendor contracts, processing invoices, and tracking project budgets.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years’ experience in creative production required, agency experience a plus. Footwear experience a plus.  
  • Experience with photo studio production / product photography execution a plus – must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and working in a photo studio on set. 
  • Solid experience in practical PowerPoint design (?) 
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite — particularly InDesign, Bridge and Photoshop.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and be able to react quickly to change. 
  • High energy and clear communication skills with an ability to navigate the creative process.
  •  Deep level of project management ability — must be comfortable managing multiple projects and tight deadlines across a broad group of internal clients and departments. 
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and planning skills.
  • Experience using a Digital Asset Management system to gather, track and deliver assets. 
  • Experience with project management platforms (ex: Monday.com, Asana, Trello, etc.) 
  • A solid knowledge of the graphic design process including design, production, photography, and digital design best practices.

Salary or Pay Range: $72,000 - $82,000  

Workplace Persona: Collaborator  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

 

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
