Overview
The Category Management Coordinator for HEYDUDE reports to the Director of Category Management and supports the execution of seasonal and long-term category initiatives through strong analytical, organizational, and coordination support. This role partners closely with Category Managers and cross-functional teams to help bring consumer-right, relevant product assortments to market while maintaining strong process discipline and data integrity.
This is an execution-focused role designed for an early-career category or merchandising professional looking to grow within a fast-paced, consumer- and product-led environment.
What You'll Do
- Support the development and execution of seasonal category plans through data analysis, reporting, and coordination of key milestones.
- Assist in compiling and maintaining consumer, market, and competitor insights to support category decisions.
- Prepare and maintain seasonal tools, product briefs, assortment documentation, and line plan materials to support Design, Development, and Channel Merchandising partners.
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment by managing calendars, meeting preparation, recaps, and follow-up actions.
- Track category performance metrics, including sales, margin, product mix, and SKU productivity, and support reporting and insights.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency of category data, tools, and systems throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support operational efficiency by reinforcing timelines, processes, and communication across teams.
- Own sample management for the inline team by gender.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience.
- 0-3 years of experience in category management, merchandising, product, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support category and product decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, and charts) and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Title: Category Management Coordinator
Salary or Pay Range: $48,000 - $58,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
