The Art Director reports to the VP, Global creative director. Collaborating with the Creative director, this role will work to advance, define and maintain brand creative standards across all global campaigns and marketing channels. The Art Director handles the day-to-day work of the creative team and provides design/conceptual direction for, and collaborates with, Graphic Designers, Digital Designers and Copywriters to bring the HEYDUDE brand to life across multiple global channels.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with VP, Global creative director to build and deliver campaigns across all channels, social, PR, e-commerce, CRM, paid media, organic social, etc.
  • Direct creative team comprised of Graphic Designers, Content creators, from concept to final execution.
  • Be highly conceptual and able to easily communicate ideas that support and elevate the HEYDUDE brand.
  • Provide clear and concise art direction for Graphic Designers and Content Creators.
  • Review and approve creative projects before presenting to VP, Global creative director.
  • Help build an environment of partnership and collaboration throughout HEYDUDE to ensure that briefs are understood, and objectives met while constantly pushing to elevate the Brand.
  • Assign, review and approve all projects to direct-report designers.
  • Collaborate with Copywriters to concept big-picture ideas.
  • Collaborate with designers and product to launch HEYDUDE new products.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 4-6 years of experience as an Art Director.
  • 5-7 years of experience in design/digital.
  • Expert level proficiencies within Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Must be organized and able to maintain a fast-paced working environment.
  • Must be a willing communicator and collaborator.
  • Must be committed to the development of Graphic Designers, Copywriters and Videographers/Photographers.
  • Must maintain a professional and creative atmosphere within the creative and marketing teams.
  • Must be flexible and able to accept, provide and apply necessary critique and feedback.
  • Expert level presentation skills to executive leadership team.
  • Experience in footwear, as well as Apparel & Accessories is a plus.

Title: Art Director, Brand 

Salary or Pay Range: $120,900 - $130,900  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

 

At Crocs, Inc. we believe in the power of a blend of in-person and virtual collaboration to drive creativity and strengthen relationships. Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
