Overview
At Crocs, the Safety and Security Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of a high-tech automated distribution center. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining comprehensive safety programs and coordinating the physical security of the facility. The ideal candidate is detailed, proactive, and experienced in warehouse safety and physical security protocols.
What You'll Do
Safety Program Management:
- Lead the site’s safety culture by engaging associates and leaders in safety initiatives.
- Facilitate the Safety Steering Committee and lead monthly shift safety meetings.
- Develop and maintain site-specific safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Conduct incident investigations, determine root causes, and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Track and report safety metrics; deliver routine safety updates for internal briefings.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits across shifts and departments.
- Coordinate the PPE program and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Hazard Communication compliance.
- Lead emergency response procedures, including regular drills (e.g., fire, severe weather, evacuation).
Physical Security Management
- Supervise security access controls for personnel, visitors, and contractors.
- Manage building access systems, camera surveillance, and alarm systems to ensure 24/7 site security.
- Conduct physical security audits and inspections; identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Partner with operations to manage shrink/loss prevention and monitor trends in incidents or theft.
- Manage site security guard services, including relationship with security vendor and incident response protocols.
- Maintain visitor logs, vehicle checks, and dock door security protocols to prevent unauthorized access.
- Lead incident response for workplace violence, unauthorized access, and other security breaches.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in occupational/environmental health & safety, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in distribution center safety, security, or compliance roles, including 1 year of supervision experience; experience in an automated DC is a plus.
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations, workplace safety programs, and emergency response planning.
- Experience with surveillance systems, access controls, and facility security operations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Title: Supervisor, Safety & Security
Salary or Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
