We are looking for a dynamic Supervisor, Distribution Center to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals.

 

While this position is slated for 2nd shift, all supervisor candidates (internal and external) must be willing to work other shifts as business needs requite.  

1st shift Monday - Thursday, 6am - 430pm 
2nd Shift Monday - Thursday, 6pm - 430am 
Weekend Friday - Sunday, 6am - 630pm 

 

What You'll Do

  • Leadership and Coordination: Collaborate with other supervisors to ensure the smooth operation across different shifts. Determine and implement strategies to meet daily efficiency and service goals.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and maintain accuracy standards to ensure the integrity of inventory as it is received and moves within the facility.
  • Performance Monitoring: Lead and encourage your team to meet efficiency, cost goals, and service standards. Monitor safety protocols and incident reports to minimize lost time and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Operational Supervision: Coordinate the day-to-day operations in a high-volume, multi-building, automated distribution center, ensuring strict adherence to standard methodologies.
  • Communication and Feedback: Foster open communication, establish clear goals, and provide timely and valuable feedback to team members and other collaborators.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • High school diploma or equivalent is necessary; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a warehouse environment or a related area, with prior experience within a Distribution Center, transportation, or logistics.
  • Leadership Skills: A proven ability to lead and manage teams in a high-volume, high-growth environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures. Proficient in PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  Experience with Manhattan or other WMS preferred.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, the ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
