Overview
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to support our high-volume distribution center in Dayton, Ohio. This role is a key position within the HR team, serving as a partner & mentor to HRBPs and a strategic partner to the Senior HR leader and operations leadership. The Sr. HRBP will drive people-first solutions, lead cross-functional HR initiatives, and ensure consistency in the execution of HR policies, employee programs, and compliance practices. The Sr. HRBP must be UNAPOLOGETICALLY PEOPLE FIRST.
This is a Monday–Friday, first-shift role with a regular presence in the building to support employee experience and HR effectiveness.

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with the Senior HR Leader and broader leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned to operational goals.
- Lead the implementation of HR initiatives and process improvements across shifts and teams.
- Support change management efforts related to organizational updates, systems, and workforce planning.
HRBP Team Development & Support
- Serve as a coach and mentor to HRBPs; support their development as trusted, strategic business partners.
- Ensure consistency and alignment in how HR policies, procedures, and initiatives are communicated and applied.
- Establish key relationships across DC network.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, and resolution strategies in partnership with legal and compliance.
- Review and enhance HR policies and practices to reflect current employment law and operational needs.
- Drive consistent documentation and tracking of policy-related activity and employee relations trends.
Workforce Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain key HR metrics and dashboards related to attendance, turnover, investigations, and compliance.
- Use data to identify opportunities and propose solutions to enhance workforce performance and employee experience.
Engagement, Culture & Recognition
- Champion employee engagement initiatives; partner with site leaders to implement action plans based on survey results and pulse checks.
- Guide culture-building efforts that reinforce our values, support inclusion, and foster recognition and belonging.
Cross-Functional Project Leadership
- Lead and support DC network and site-specific HR projects that elevate the employee experience and improve HR efficiency.
- Collaborate with corporate and network HR teams to pilot and scale best practices across the distribution network.
What You'll Bring to the Table
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience; distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of HR disciplines including employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational development.
- Strong coaching, influencing, and relationship-building skills with leaders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR projects and driving continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, Kronos).
- Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
Working Conditions
- This is an onsite, first-shift (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.) role with floor presence expected for visibility and support.
- Occasional flexibility to support alternate shifts or weekends as needed to coach HRBPs and respond to business needs.
