Returns Clerk - Weekend Shift

Overview
The Returns Clerk will perform various tasks to ensure the daily E-commerce returns goals set by the Supervisor are met. The Returns Clerk must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with members of the Receiving team.
This position supports our weekend shift operations, Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:30pm.
What You'll Do
- Maintain quality service by accurately and diligently following set processes and company standards
- Work individually or within small groups as required
- Maintain safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Ensure all documents are filled out correctly (daily excel document regarding exceptions)
- Ensure all inbound containers are completed based on their assigned time and windows
- Clearly and appropriately call out risks to Management
- Monitor flow out of the parcel trucks
- Act as the department SME by providing guidance, troubleshooting and support to other Associates
- Ensure all equipment is turned in at the end of each shift and work areas are left clean and organized
- Communicate with customer service as needed
- Close returns ASNs at the end of everyday
- Ensure the proper hand off is given to the following shift
- Ensure supplies are sufficient for the needs of the department
- Support as needed in the Inbound department
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Experience working in a fast paced and attention to detail environment
- Previous experience working in a Returns processing department preferred
- At least 1 year of experience working in a distribution environment required
- Strong attention to detail and computer proficiency required, experience with WMS / Manhattan preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to ask questions to gain a clear understanding of instructions and processes
- Good problem solving skills and the ability to work through problems in a team-centered environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, Standard operating procedures and operating instructions
- Ability to work safely around mechanical equipment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to sit and or stand for up to 8-10 hours a day, ability to squat, kneel, twist and bend
