Returns Clerk - 2nd Shift

Overview
The Returns Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing returned e-commerce merchandise in accordance with company standards. This role ensures returned goods are inspected, recorded, and handled properly to support inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction. The position requires attention to detail, effective time management, and collaboration with other distribution center teams.
This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Thursday, 6:00pm - 4:30am.
This position will be posted internally for 10 days, 5/22/2025 - 6/1/2025.
What You'll Do
- Inspect returned items for damage, misuse, or quality issues based on company guidelines.
- Accurately log returned products into the warehouse management system.
- Determine appropriate disposition of returned items (e.g., restock, refurbish, dispose).
- Ensure returned items are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
- Collaborate with inventory control and quality teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area that meets safety and operational standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Identify and escalate recurring return issues or product concerns to leadership.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed during high-volume periods.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in warehouse, distribution, or returns processing is a plus.
- Ability to operate warehouse systems and handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse software.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items up to 60 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as needed
Work Environment:
This role is performed in a distribution center environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and standing or walking for long durations.
