Overview
The Crocs Dayton Distribution Center is seeking a results-driven leader to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, you will lead a team of Maintenance Technicians responsible for maintaining the facility, equipment, and overall operational efficiency of the distribution center. You will oversee daily maintenance operations, manage projects and service requests, coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and help drive continuous improvement across the facility. This position plays a key role in supporting a safe, reliable, and efficient operation that enables us to serve our customers, wholesale partners, and retail stores with excellence.
What You'll Do
- Supervise maintenance and facilities techs work. Mentor, conduct performance evaluations, partner with Human Resources on employee development and retention.
- Establish PM scopes and schedules to enhance equipment uptime.
- Manage service requests, spare parts, preventative maintenance, etc. using CMMS.
- Ensure the timely completion of all facilities and equipment service requests.
- Support continuous improvement projects to achieve operational excellence.
- Communicate status updates with project teams / requestors.
- Develop and maintain JSA.
- Maintain safety compliance for elevated work, electrical work, hot work, etc.
- Collaborate and form partnership with facilities and equipment, vendors, and suppliers.
- Support transition of the building's continued growth as we add and implement automation.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant Technical or Vocational education.
- 4 years of experience leading maintenance teams in distribution center or manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility in schedule; although the schedule will generally be Monday to Friday business hours, the Maintenance Supervisor must have the flexibility to support weekend, and off times as needed.
- Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and can develop engaging content.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Teams, and CMMS.
- Ability to work safely around equipment and enforce OSHA regulations.
- Experience with LOTO.
- Experience with reading electrical and mechanical drawings, and schematics for troubleshooting. PLC background preferred.
- Experience with MDR conveyors, narrow belt sorter, and/or other automated conveyor / material handling systems.
- Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- HVAC experience
- Metal fabrication and/or welding experience
