Overview

The Senior Trainer is responsible for executing global training initiatives, identifying and addressing training needs, conducting in-store coaching sessions, and ensuring employees have the skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding customer experiences and met sales goals. This role requires an individual who is passionate about learning and development, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and is capable of balancing training responsibilities with hands-on sales support

What You'll Do

  • Ensure 90% of employees complete required training on time.
  • Deliver training through classroom, on-the-job coaching, workshops, and virtual sessions.
  • Align programs with company goals and facilitate train-the-trainer sessions for distributors and O&O.
  • Conduct in-store coaching on customer service, product selling, conversion, total sales, and focus products.
  • Assist customers when not training and coach teams to improve sales.
  • Work with the Senior Manager to assess needs and develop tailored training.
  • Get approval for customized training and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Plan and deliver staff development via demonstrations, meetings, and workshops.
  • Lead orientation and on-the-job training for smooth onboarding.
  • Hold monthly 1:1 sessions with store managers to assess performance and mentor teams.
  • Identify skill gaps and mentor employees using Crocs, Inc. Success Drivers.
  • Train leaders and supervisors in training techniques and leadership.
  • Work with team leaders to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Track and report training attendance, completion, and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with global training guidelines and legal standards.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in training, coaching, or staff development.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience in retail or customer service is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum design, teaching, and assessment of training effectiveness.
  • Ability to understand customer needs, quality standards, and service evaluation.
  • Knowledge of learning, motivation, and human behavior to optimize training impact.
  • Proficiency in grammar, composition, and effective communication.
