Overview

The Senior Key Account Manager will drive revenue and strategic growth with major footwear, sporting goods, and fashion retailers in Japan. This individual contributor role focuses on delivering exponential business growth through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and execution of wholesale and key account strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow key account business in Japan, creating and executing strategic sales plans.

  • Build strong relationships with retail partners, optimizing assortments and seasonal marketing efforts.

  • Monitor performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activity.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with marketing, VM, logistics, and finance to support account growth.

  • Manage sales targets, profitability, and inventory for key accounts.

  • Identify new business opportunities, including at-once sales from excess inventory.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years in key account management, preferably in footwear or sporting goods.

  • Strong understanding of Japan's wholesale market.

  • Proven ability to drive revenue and manage complex accounts.

  • Fluent in Japanese and English.

  • Strategic thinker with strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
