Overview

The Manager, Marketplace for Crocs Japan is responsible for leading the commercial and
operational strategy for Amazon Japan, one of the most critical digital channels in the
region. Reporting to the Marketplaces and Etail Manager, this role sits within the Digital team
and plays a key part in driving revenue, optimizing performance, and enhancing brand
presence in Japan’s fast-paced e-commerce landscape

What You'll Do

Drive the end-to-end strategy and execution for Amazon Japan, owning P&L and
delivering against growth targets.
Manage platform operations including inventory, pricing, catalog quality, and
promotional execution to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align goals,
campaigns, and performance metrics.
Maintain strong relationships with Amazon account teams, media agencies, and
vendors to support joint business planning and execution.
Track key performance indicators and deliver actionable insights through regular
reporting and analysis.
Innovate by championing new tools, technologies, and processes that improve
efficiency and scalability.
Connect cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, supply chain, and finance
teams to ensure cohesive execution.
Achieve operational excellence through continuous improvement and post-event
performance reviews.

What You'll Bring to the Table

BS or BA in business, marketing, e-commerce, or related field – or equivalent years of
relevant experience.
Minimum 6 years of experience in digital commerce, with at least 3 years managing
Amazon Japan (Seller Central and/or Vendor Central).
Background knowledge in fashion, footwear, or consumer goods is a plus.
Strong understanding of Amazon’s ecosystem including A+ content, SEO,
AMS/advertising, Buy Box, and FBA.
Highly proficient in Excel and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage complex
operations.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into strategic actions.
Fluent in Japanese with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in written English communication.
