Overview
The Manager of Digital Marketing and Communications, Japan is responsible for leading the development and
execution of localized marketing strategies across PR, Organic Social Media, Paid Media, consumer events and
Influencer Content. This role plays a key part in delivering consumer-facing brand activations with strong local
relevance while leveraging scalable global platforms. Based in Tokyo, Japan, this role reports directly to the
Director of Japan Marketing and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.
What You'll Do

Strategy & Localization:
Develop and localize digital brand strategies to fit Japanese market trends and consumer behavior. -
Campaign Execution:
Plan and execute integrated campaigns, managing PR, influencer, content, and event activations. -
Agency & Influencer Management:
Lead relationships with local agencies; source and manage influencer partnerships. -
Social & Content:
Grow social platforms and ensure culturally relevant, brand-aligned content. -
Performance & Insights:
Track KPIs, generate insights, and share learnings with global and local teams. -
Collaboration & Team Management:
Lead a local team and work closely with internal and global partners to align efforts and maximize ROI.
What You'll Bring to the Table

Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years in brand/digital marketing, preferably in fashion/lifestyle industries

Team leadership experience

Fluent in Japanese and English

Strong cultural insight, creativity, and commercial mindset

Comfortable working across global teams and managing multiple stakeholders
