Overview
The Retail Director of Japan for Crocs is responsible to lead Japan Retail Organization and to drive all aspects of retail store operations and processes toward achieving financial and retail KPI objectives. While managing, guiding, coaching, and motivating the retail team, he/she is to ensure the execution of a consistent and high standard of retail excellence in all directly operated stores as well as carrying out business activities that support Crocs core values and objectives and promote Crocs brand standards.
What You'll Do
- Sales and Financial performance - Review and analyze sales, KPI and Financial performance, and provide strategic suggestions and solutions to achieve goals.
- Consumer excellence - Drive retail operational excellence working with District managers, Trainer and VMD team.
- Product - Work with Merchandise and Planning team to plan and execute optimal product assortment and inventory management.
- In-store activations: Work cross-functionally to plan in-store promotions that will help to improve KPI and revenue.
- Business development and store planning - plan to ensure business growth and greater brand presence in the market via opening new stores and pop-up stores, relocation of stores and close non-profitable stores.
- People management – Review and develop retail team talents in office and stores for future growth in line with the corporate strategy.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Require BS or BA
- Strong understanding of Retail experience in Fashion / Sport / lifestyle industry
- Highly Demonstrated ability to manage a team of over 10 people
- Ability to communicate fluently both in Japanese and English
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Strategic mindset
