Sr. Tooling Engineer

Overview

The Sr. Tooling Engineer for Crocs, Inc., Crocs is responsible for

·       Designs, develops, and maintains tools, molds, and fixtures critical to efficient, high-quality footwear manufacturing.

·       Ensures precise engineering and proper maintenance of these tools to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and uphold product quality.

·       Their expertise supports seamless manufacturing operations and enhances organizational success and competitiveness.

What You'll Do

• Check the mold drawings, make sure the reliability, tolerances, structure, function. Update drawing and follow ECR.
• Manage Tooling and Molding Follow up: Work with all the tool shop to follow the tooling process, control the quality and process. Build the following system and quality check system of the tooling process.
• Relationship and Team Work: build the good cooperation relationship with all the suppliers, build the good team work with all the colleges.
• Reliability Test and Measurement: Manage critical parts’ multi-functional and reliable test, manage or audit the measuring of all the critical to function (CTF) dimensions. Create and follow the control plan of all the critical dimensions, in order to make sure all these parts can pass the machine test.

What You'll Bring to the Table

• College or above
• Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD building and 1 year’s of experience in Tooling
• Background knowledge in CAD design software (especially in Catia or Rhino software)
• Familiar with manufacturing processes, plastic injection molding
• Good oral and written English communication skills
• Strong analysitcal, problem solving and decision-making skills are a must
• Have leadership, planning and organizing skills
