Overview

The Sr Global Trade Compliance Specialist for Crocs Inc. is an integral part of Supply Chain and the Global Trade Compliance Team. This role is responsible for mitigating risk while controlling duty spend throughout Croc’s Global Network. The Global Trade Compliance Specialist will support import/export operations in Vietnam while ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations and aid in functions relating to Harmonized Tariff Classification, Country of Origin, Valuation, and Free Trade Agreement management.

What You'll Do

 

  • Implement business processes and procedures through automation, when applicable
  • Partner with numerous stakeholders within the Company including Legal, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, and IT to develop and execute defined procedures
  • Provide advice and counsel on trade requirements for major initiatives and special projects
  • Support first sale initiative including interaction with outside counsel, internal audits, and interaction with unrelated suppliers
  • Oversee appropriate KPI’s (Key Performance Indicator) for Trade Compliance aligned with customs broker and freight forwarder management
  • Classify products under appropriate Harmonized System codes
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with applicable global regulations, conduct Post Entry Audit for exports and imports
  • Own and ensure documentation is in compliance with government standards
  • Provide technical and hands-on expertise in the area of daily export and import compliance
  • Monitor, review and interpret import and export regulations, laws and requirements including participating government agency (PGA) regulations in regions as assigned
