Overview

The Sr. Costing engineer of Costing team for Crocs is responsible for footwear costing evaluation and negotiation to make sure products cost with accuracy and in reasonable market price range in order to improve margin.

What You'll Do

  • Follow costing process and timeline to work with T1 to complete each round cost submission with accurately and timely.
  • Review each round CBD of NPI styles to offer cost reduction suggestions or raise up cost issues to relevant teams to drive cost reduction as early as possible during development stage and review all detailed cost to finalize it timely.
  • Negotiate pricing with T1 and T2 to meet margin objectives. Collect or consolidate cost information from T1 or T2 for main style or components to support transparent costing model setup.
  • Proactively identify and implement cost saving opportunities for price optimization through commodity price tracker and labor wage data collection to review and update CO styles’ cost for annual cost adjustment.
  • Work with Cross functional team to support in cost review such as innovation project, RD project, cost reduction project, new T2 audit and so on.
  • Work with team members and T1 to make sure supplier quotes and material contents being updated into Centric accurately and timely.
  • Review and update costing relavant report such as price confirmation tracker, cost summary list, material database and so on.
  • Work with with Cross functional team to verify price such as VA report, E&O material report, price discrepancy in SAP and so on.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Education: College or above
  • Experience: 6+ years of costing experience in footwear industry
  • Excellent English in both written and oral
  • Good at price negotiation
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, especially in excel
  • Good communication skills and strong team player
