Overview

As a Quality Manager, you will work closely with quality team and key stakeholders to define quality issues through root cause analysis and data analytics to enable standardisation and enhancement of our Quality Standards across all our Vietnam factories. you will support ongoing development of the Quality strategy and take the lead in developing PROCESS, POLICIES and PROCEDURES and ensure compliance against these standards, working to develop, communicate, train, and embed, ensuring Quality Standards that are always fully comply with internal and external requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage the QC team in daily inspection activities
  • Verify product quality at all stages (materials, components, in-process, final product)
  • Implement preventative measures to ensure quality issue are totally eradicated or minimized
  • Conduct final inspections before shipment
  • Manage and track defect rates and quality metrics
  • Issue and follow up on quality reports
  • Coordinate with factories on quality improvements
  • Train and supervise QC inspectors
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all quality control activities
  • Implement and monitor AQL standards
  • Verify compliance with brand quality requirements
  • Provide findings from quality issues on the back end up through Product Operations / Development to have a “Closed Loop” of learning to ensure that issues are resolved, changed, and implemented at the front end of Product Creation.
  • Ensure adherence to Quality standards through effective monitoring via auditing, measuring, tracking and Build clear CAPs where performance standards are not being met with improvement plans managed effectively and tracked.

What You'll Bring to the Table

Education:

  • Bachelor or above
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, Quality Control, or related field

Experience:

  • 7 years or above

Knowledge:

  • Shoe making process.
  • Technically strong & analytical attitude – solving relevant problems with strong process and data driven.
  • AQL & Final Inspection
  • Excel, Power Point
  • Reporting
  • Daily In-process control
  • Quality System Audits
  • Digital quality system e.g. Inspectorio
  • Physical Testing

Interpersonal Skill:

  • Excellent communication
  • Fluent English (Chinese is plus)
  • Problem solving
