Overview

The Sr. Account Executive will support business development and growth of strategic and/or scaled retail relationships; to achieve or exceed sales and profitability objectives; selling to and leading all accounts and prospects as assigned by HEYDUDE; handling sell-thru and performance of HEYDUDE products and running long-term development of the HEYDUDE brand with its retailer partners. This role identifies marketplace opportunities, prospects and engages new customers, prepares strategic sales presentations, and will be responsible for account management. Ideal candidates for this role will be remote, however based in close proximity to the Charlotte, NC area (relocation assistance provided).

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end account operations, from order acquisition to delivery.
  • Be responsible for HEYDUDE profitability with key accounts, including credit claims, customer compliance issues, and returns.
  • Optimize HEYDUDE product sales by achieving or exceeding sales goals with assigned accounts.
  • Drive top and bottom-line numbers for assigned territories using strong business intuition and retail math abilities.
  • Accountable for pre-book and at-once sales.
  • Lead gross to net revenues and achieve seasonal sales initiatives and category goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and retail activation to lead sell-in and sell-through for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure customers profitably retail the accurate quantity and quality of assortment products to drive growth in the territory.
  • Maintain updated account and sales records; analyze and report selling information weekly for key accounts.
  • Identify and supervise new account opportunities to meet growth targets.
  • Provide marketplace insights to the brand and leadership team, including competitor information, consumer understanding, account performance, and market penetration.
  • Supervise model stocks and determine accurate inventory levels and timing for markdowns, plan conversion strategies for profitable seasonal transitions.
  • Routinely advise management of regional problems and opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent in-store visitation to ensure brand presence, visual roll-out/events, and drive turn and door volume.
  • Identify underdeveloped business areas and formulate strategies to increase market share.
  • Develop strategic sales plans incorporating specific account insights and goals to achieve HEYDUDE sales and profitability targets.
  • Prepare, plan, and deliver sales line presentations tied to HEYDUDE seasonal merchandising, sales, and marketing initiatives.
  • Actively participate in account and HEYDUDE meetings, including pre-lines, business reviews, and sales meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between HEYDUDE operations and account operations.
  • Establish and maintain consistent relationships internally and externally.
  • Communicate consistently and efficiently with cross-functional HEYDUDE business units.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 7-10 years of industry sales experience required; 5+ years of footwear experience required.
    • 5+ years of strategic/key account experience required.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of US retail and wholesale footwear landscape and consumer insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Power Point.
  • BA or BS degree required.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Frequent travel 50%+, overnights, night and weekend work may be required.

Title: Sr. Key Account Manager 

Salary or Pay Range: $132,000-$142,000  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
