Overview

The Senior Key Account Manager, Sporting Goods will own the management and growth of Crocs’ partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods, driving revenue, profitability, and brand visibility through outstanding account management, strategic assortment planning, and collaborative joint business planning. This position will play a meaningful role in crafting how consumers experience the Crocs brand within the sporting goods channel.  

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for end-to-end account management including oversight to: order acquisition through order delivery, Crocs profitability with strategic key accounts, management and resolution of all credit claims, customer compliance issues, etc.
  • Develop strategic annual sales plans and long range plans that incorporate specific account insight and goals to achieve CROCS sales and profitability targets that align with brand and category objectives.
  • Drive top and bottom-line revenue for your assigned partner base using strong intuition for business and retail math abilities.
  • Lead all customer and CROCS meetings including pre-lines, monthly and seasonal business reviews, and sales meetings.
  • Accountable for pre-book and at-once sales built around a quality assortment of product to ensure growth in the channel.
  • Lead all aspects of restocking and displaying merchandise while calculating appropriate inventory levels to optimally achieve business goals.
  • Lead sell-in and sell-through for assigned accounts in collaboration with merchandising, marketing, and retail activation.
  • Maintains updated account and sales records, analyzes and reports selling information into the company on a weekly basis for key accounts.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills both internally and externally.
  • Identifies areas of underdeveloped business and formulates a strategy to gain increased market share.
  • Communicate consistently and efficiently with partners including sales management, customer service, demand planning, finance, merchandising, marketing, and business development.
  • Provide marketplace and consumer insights to brand and leadership team (competitor information, consumer understanding, account performance, current/future market penetration, etc.)
  • Advises management routinely of challenges and opportunities while offering recommended solutions when management is needed.
  • Maintains a consistent frequency of in-store visitation to ensure execution of brand presence, visual roll-out/events, driving turn and door volume.

What You'll Bring to the Table

 

  • BA or BS degree required.
    • 5-7 years of industry sales experience required; footwear experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of US retail and wholesale footwear landscape.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to conduct company and department ethical standards; will make decisions with the best interest of the team, company, and CROCS brand in mind.
  • Frequent travel 50%+, overnights, night and weekend work may be required.

Title: Sr. Key Account Executive 

Salary or Pay Range: $149,998 - $159,998  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
