Overview
This is a 4-month contract engagement. The Visual Merchandiser (VM) for Malaysia & Singapore is responsible for delivering engaging, on‑brand and commercially effective in‑store visual execution across all Crocs retail doors. The role partners closely with Retail Operations, Marketing and Merchandising teams to translate global and regional VM direction into strong local execution that enhances customer experience and drives sales.
This role ensures consistent brand presentation while adapting displays to local store formats, consumer behavior and commercial priorities across both markets
What You'll Do
- Execute Crocs’ global and regional visual merchandising guidelines across all stores in Malaysia and Singapore, ensuring strong brand consistency and commercial impact.
- Support new store openings, refits and temporary installations, including setup and post‑opening follow‑up.
- Partner with Store Managers and retail teams to ensure VM guidelines are understood, adopted and sustained in daily operations.
- Review VM photo reports and provide feedback for improvement, followed by actual implementation of the same at country level.
- Work closely with Marketing, Merchandising and Retail Operations to align VM execution with commercial priorities and product strategies.
- Review existing store layouts, especially of key stores and select under-performing stores to recommend changes in layouts/ space allocation
- Localize regional or global VM materials to ensure market relevance while maintaining brand integrity.
- Implement seasonal campaigns, product launches, windows, in‑store displays and planograms in line with the Go‑To‑Market (GTM) calendar.
- Ensure correct zoning, product placement, storytelling and use of POS materials across different store formats (full price, outlet, kiosk where applicable).
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for production, installation and maintenance of VM assets and props. Support budgeting, cost control and sourcing of VM materials within agreed guidelines.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Design, Retail Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of visual merchandising experience, preferably within footwear, apparel or lifestyle retail.
- Hands‑on experience executing planograms, windows and in‑store campaigns across multiple stores.
- Strong eye for aesthetics with a solid understanding of commercial retail requirements.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence store teams and stakeholders.
- Organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across two markets.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on retail environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly between Malaysia and Singapore.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Flexible, proactive and solution‑oriented mindset aligned with Crocs’ fun, bold and customer‑centric culture.
