Overview

The Sr. Manager Demand Planning is responsible for implementing the aligned business strategy maximizing sales, margin, and inventory profitability in the Asia region. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams the role drives top-down targets, channel demand plans, inventory strategies, and is center of excellence to improve planning processes & tools.

What You'll Do

  • Lead demand planning team & analytics function
  • Establish Merch Financial Plans setting tops-down targets for revenue, margins, and key categories, in close partnership with global and regional teams
  • Create option count frameworks and collaborate with merchandizing team to understand comp styles and identify gaps & opportunities to meet the revenue plans
  • Build pre-season forecast and review against the Merch Financial Plans ensuring strategy plans are aligned
  • Track actual sales performance and update monthly demand forecast through the S&OP cycles
  • Optimize the inventory healthy by setting inventory policies & actioning excess / shortages proactively
  • Maintain revenue, margin and OTB plans using bottom up forecast inputs, preseason initial plans and long term Merch Financial Plans
  • Provide hind-sight analyses to impact future season product category decisions and improvements in forecasting and trading decisions
  • Implement o9 and other standardized tools to enable modeling & scenario planning for key metrics such as pricing & discounts, commercial / promo events, product lifecycle
  • Drive regional planning for Jibbitz, Accessories, and Speed to Market initiatives outside of regular Footwear playbook, focusing on enhancing speed and inventory turnover
  • Partner with merchandizing team to set most optimal size ratios and size curves
  • Work with PBI team and create & publish standardized reports to ensure all stakeholders have the insights to make the right decisions

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in merchandize planning, business planning or related roles within the FMCG industry.
  • Understanding of various planning models, inventory strategies and Open To Buy logic.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Able to operate efficiently in a matrix environment and persuasively present an educated point of view to influence business decisions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and operational excellence.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Planning Software, experience in o9 is a plus.
  • Fluent in English
