Overview
The Sr Demand Planner is responsible to deliver accurate demand forecast and healthy channel inventory management for the Southeast Asia (SEA) Wholesale channel. Through effective planning, account management, and analysis of supply and inventory status, this role helps achieve financial targets. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Customer Service, while fostering strong relationships with external wholesale customers to drive align inventory and sales planning. This role plays a critical part in shaping the region’s pre-season and in-season demand strategies, enabling strategic inventory investments and elevating partner planning capabilities across SEA
What You'll Do
Seasonal Forecasting & Demand Management

Deliver accurate SEA forecasts using historical data, commercial input, and marketing plans.

Manage in-season reforecasting to optimize inventory and capture sales opportunities.
Pre-Season Planning & Buy Alignment

Partner with Merchandising on buy depth, SKU mix, and account strategy using sell-through and segmentation.

Influence partner bookings to align with key product and market goals.

Flag booking risks/opportunities by category or campaign and escalate as needed.

Lead booking reviews, ensuring alignment on priorities and timelines.

Share insights to improve buying decisions and planning maturity.
Key Account Collaboration & Planning

Act as planning partner to distributors—aligning on targets, launch forecasts, and inventory plans.
Inventory & Supply Management

Monitor inventory levels and forward cover, flagging excess or shortages early.

Recommend top-ups or order shifts based on lifecycle, MOS, and supply.

Collaborate on prioritization and order phasing with Supply Planning, Ops, and Finance.
Process, Tools & Reporting Improvement

Support rollout of new planning tools and templates (e.g., o9, dashboards, trackers).

Champion forecast accuracy and KPI reporting.

Drive continuous improvements to standardize and automate planning across SEA.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Demand Planning within the FMCG industry; experience in apparel or fashion, particularly within a wholesale business model, is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of demand planning methodologies, inventory management, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) modeling.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficient in Planning Software and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams across country and regional levels.
- Strong commercial acumen and confidence in managing relationships with external customers.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and maintaining a keen attention to detail.
- Skilled in presenting data in clear, structured, and visually engaging formats.
- Able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines; demonstrates initiative, challenges the status quo, and embraces change.
