Overview

Seeking a highly Commercial Senior Merchandising Manager who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and is keen to work within a passionate and high-achieving team.

This person will be responsible for delivering the product assortment for China DTC: Retail & Digital, through close collaboration with cross-channel Partners to ensure the needs of the China consumers are best served and the Crocs Brand strategy is successfully conveyed.

The candidate will be a member of the Regional Merchandising team and should be highly agile as well as an excellent communicator in order to act as an influential voice for the APAC Region to both Global and Country-level cross functional teams.

What You'll Do

  • Consolidate Seasonal Regional hindsight process. Collaborate with in country Merchandising team for holistic output
  • Input into sub-channel MFP plans collaborating with planning counterpart to match back to country strategic vision. Call out any risk and opportunity at product level
  • Build up Seasonal slot plans by country to meet ideal SKU targets and ensure revenue goals can be met. Identify new development needs to feed into Global at the right time in the Global product cycle
  • Lead Channel segmentation strategy as it relates to consumer by door type and climate/geography
  • Propose ideal monthly newness flow to align with Commercial calendar and LY spikes
  • Build out the Country store space plans using floor space and revenue to fully understand Seasonal SKU requirements. Align with country VM/Operations on a seasonal basis
  • Align on Country Seasonal product calendar/GTM with Head of Country Merchandising, ensure alignment with assortment strategy and Global Marketing plans
  • Partner with cross-channel Merch counterparts on pre-Season MSRP setting and input into the Regional pricing strategy to ensure consumer needs are met. Stay close to competitor pricing trends.
  • Attend country level weekly, monthly business review meetings to stay abreast of latest demand trends. Pivot on future assortments where needed.
  • Conduct regular market visits to comp shop, understand trend and consumer appetite. Advise the Global team of product opportunities within Globally defined timelines
  • Optimize Channel exclusive strategy, SMU opportunities & License/Collab adoption. Work with Wholesale/Digital to ensure synergy in market
  • Gain sell-in insights from country Wholesale & Digital Merch teams to inform Retail assortment decisions
  • Review Weekly Sell thru analysis to read and react to product performance
  • Optimize store space to sales ratios to maximize cash per sq ft
  • Evaluate optimal size ratios/curves by product group
  • Review and align county promotional pricing frameworks and include in country quarterly GTM decks for full country alignment
  • Attend Global Product milestone meetings

What You'll Bring to the Table

Education

Degree level or equivalent with related work experience

Skill and Knowledge

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Merchandising experience
  • Leadership experience – proven track record of motivation, strategic thinking, challenging the status quo and leading hearts and minds
