Overview
We are seeking a highly commercial Director, DTC Merchandising APAC who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and is keen to work within a passionate and driven leadership unit. The role is responsible for delivering the successful execution of the product strategy for Crocs Brand across all APAC Owned Retail doors & Digital Channels through best practice Merchandise process that enables enhanced consumer experience. As a key member of the regional merchandising team, the candidate must be agile and an excellent communicator, serving as an influential voice for the APAC Region to both Global and Country-level cross functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead the DTC Merchandising team, balancing strategic oversight with operational execution of the merchandising strategy.
- Build regionally relevant product assortments aligned with the Brand’s growth strategy and consumer needs.
- Manage the product launch calendar to ensure a consistent flow of newness, timely execution of key launches, and flawless activations across all markets.
- Lead quarterly promotional planning, including in-store activations, tentpole campaigns, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and margin.
- Oversee weekly trading processes, analyze reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize business performance. Support country teams in preparing trading decks and reviewing performance reports, actively contributing insights and recommendations during trading meetings to drive revenue and profit. Compile regional trading overviews for management approval and share timely product performance insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Monitor trading conditions to flag risks/opportunities, reforecast margins bi-weekly in partnership with Finance.
- Review seasonal product forecasts with country teams and collaborate with DTC Planning to influence outcomes and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Identify regional business risks and opportunities based on trading trends; complete bi-weekly margin reforecasts in partnership with Finance.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising and onsite teams to ensure seasonal product prioritization reflects overall strategy.
- Contribute to monthly and seasonal hindsight reviews to extract learnings and inform future actions.
- Elevate market-level consumer insights and competitor intelligence to inform regional decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with peers to communicate trading strategies and foster strong alignment on new ways of working.
- Leads a high-performing team with energy, agility, and a results-driven mindset to consistently deliver impactful outcomes for the brand.
- Constantly strive to develop, evolve and coach to better serve the business
- Drives proactive succession planning by identifying, developing, and positioning talent to support future business growth and leadership continuity. Develops team succession planning to identify, select and develop people to meet future growth plans
- Partner with Planning, VM, Marketing, Digital, Commercial teams and Store Ops to align merchandising priorities and execution.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant Merchandising experience
- Leadership experience – proven track record of motivation, strategic thinking, challenging the status quo and leading hearts and minds
- Strong Analytical Skills and Commercial Business Acumen with the ability to interpret data and influence business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of the APAC fashion market, including regional consumer behavior and trends.

- Creative product mindset and problem-solving ability, balancing brand vision with market relevance.
