Overview

  • The Manager of Costing is responsible for the Material Supply Chain as it relates to all T1/T2 footwear costing. 
  • He/She will be lead selections, negotiations and implementations of key T1 partners and T2 suppliers.
  • He/She will partner with Global Planning, Global Merchandising, Product Creation, Finance, and Global Supply Chain to provide analysis, guidance and support in setting policies.

What You'll Do

  • Submit product cost in line with costing calendar in a timely manner
  • Audit cost breakdown per product sku to assure the cost, consumption, defect rate, efficiency raw material cost in reasonable range
  • Provide the guideline to the manufacture partner the material breakout to assist the HTS code completion
  • Bi-annual cost review and updates /bi-annual standard cost assistance 
  • Work with functional team or T1 partner to provide the options and suggestion during NPI stage for the low margin or questionable styles
  • Support Pre-cost query and assist target cost set up
  • Respond to the requirement from design/PDM team for the costing analysis
  • Identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities with the Materials Supply Chain.  Assist with implementing changes which will allow Crocs to take advantage of  these opportunities
  • Drive the process for collecting and reporting data utilizing Centric and CBD Access Database. Contribute to development of and maintain integrity of data systems to facilitate efficient access for customer needs – query / reporting abilities and comparative summaries of suppliers, cost / value, usage and quality.
  • Support continuous process improvement of systems and analysis through interaction with Supply Chain, Product Development, Costing and core suppliers to meet increasing demands of the performance objectives.
  • Act as liaison with global finance Teams to develop and promote understanding of data needs, especially in area of consistency.  Provide troubleshooting of Centric and CBD Access Database issues.  
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices and trends
  • Tooling amortization monthly track with each factory group
