Costing Analyst

Overview

Support business decisions by providing accurate cost analysis and validating Cost Breakdown Sheets (CBD). Compare cost records with physical samples, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions. Ensure timely CBD confirmation and FOB uploads in Centric and SAP.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor cost trends (e.g., exchange rates, wages) and contribute to FOB forecasting.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to manage cost initiatives and improve margins, especially for carryover models.

  • Ensure cost submissions and uploads to Centric/SAP meet milestones.

  • Maintain seasonal Final Price Lists and update tooling-related FOB changes.

  • Coordinate with Planning to validate FOB transfers from SAP to INFOR.

  • Keep audit-ready records and assist in annual costing audits.

  • Manage costing dashboards and processes.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field

  • 3+ years in costing, finance, or manufacturing

  • Strong knowledge of footwear industry and costing practices

  • Skilled in Excel; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Able to manage cross-functional relationships in a dynamic environment
