Overview
The Senior Store Supervisor will report to the Retail Manager. He/She will serve customers by providing merchandise and supervising floor staff. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. Duties also include motivating sales teams, creating business strategies, developing promotional material, and training new staff.
What You'll Do
- Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Maintains store staff by orienting and training employees.
- Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
- Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
- Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Possess good knowledge of customer service standard, product and fashion
- Able to manage at least 2 stores
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and people management skills
- Result and sales oriented
- Confident, energetic, resourceful and self-motivated team player, with willingness to “hands-on”
- Strong communication skills in English
- Passion for people and the retail business
- Working knowledge of MS Office
