Overview

The Sr. Packaging Engineer at Crocs, Inc. leads personalization packaging development and execution across design, sampling, production, and operations, driving quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement in support of business and market needs.

What You'll Do

  • Drive personalization packaging development from concept through Buy Ready, ensuring requirements, timelines, quality standards, and consumer experience needs are clearly defined and delivered.
  • Manage packaging material development, sampling, testing, qualification, and approval activities in partnership with global teams, factories, and suppliers.
  • Communicate packaging guidelines, project status, risks, and key decisions clearly across cross-functional stakeholders to support close connection and effective execution.
  • Maintain strong packaging standards by reviewing performance tests, trial fittings, critical dimensions, quality requirements, and brand experience expectations.
  • Track project milestones, open issues, cost opportunities, and implementation progress to reduce execution risks and ensure timely delivery.
  • Innovate and improve packaging solutions by optimizing size, weight, materials, processes, tools, and waste reduction while protecting product quality and brand presentation.
  • Support team knowledge sharing, capability building, and other related responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • BS or BA in Packaging Engineering, business, marketing, or a related field—or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging design, development, testing, production, or related project management.
  • Background knowledge in packaging materials, performance testing, production processes, supplier coordination, and factory execution.
  • Strong understanding of packaging quality, cost optimization, product protection, consumer experience, and supply chain impact.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence, and collaborate effectively with global teams, factory management, suppliers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant office or design tools.
  • Travel as needed to personalization factories across Asia.
