Overview
The Assistant Merchandising Manager will play a vital role in executing Crocs’ product and merchandising strategy in China. This individual will balance global direction with local consumer insights, ensuring the product assortment aligns with market trends, drives business results, and enhances brand relevance. They must be commercially driven, analytical, and collaborative in a fast-paced, cross-functional retail environment.
What You'll Do
1. Product & Merchandising

Analyze seasonal performance and identify hits/misses across platforms and categories.

Influence assortment planning by sharing local insights and trends with global teams.

Participate in GTM strategy and ensure local consumer needs are prioritized.

Drive a product-led culture and communicate seasonal strategies internally.

Collaborate with VM and cross-functional teams to align product priorities, pricing, and launches.
2. Promotion

Work with Commercial and Planning teams to craft and align promotional strategies (weekly/monthly/seasonal) to meet revenue, margin, and discount goals.
3. In-season Trading

Track and report product performance, converting insights into actionable strategies.

Collaborate with Planners to forecast risks and manage inventory.

Prepare and present weekly trading updates to drive business growth.

Partner daily with Planning, Marketing, VM, and Operations to ensure alignment.

What You'll Bring to the Table
Education:

Diploma or above
Experience:
-
4+ years in merchandising within retail industry
Knowledge & Skills:

Strong market analysis and competitive benchmarking

Fashion trend awareness and commercial merchandising skills

Data-driven mindset and strong Excel skills (advanced preferred)

Effective communicator in English for regional/global collaboration

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
