Overview

Assistant Demand Planning Manager is responsible to deliver accurate demand forecast and healthy channel inventory management for the China Wholesale channel. Through effective planning and analysis of sell out, inventory and supply delays and excesses, this role helps to achieve the financial targets in close collaboration with Sales, Merchant, Finance, Customer Service.

What You'll Do

  • Support preseason forecast process for must buy styles by using sell out & partner inventory data

  • Track sell out performance on style/color level and by individual wholesale partner

  • Build monthly sell out forecast on style/color level using various forecast models & inputs from Merch and Commercial

  • Use sell-out forecast and partner inventory data to update sell-in revenue plan, split in Customer Orders, At Once and Left to Book

  • Propose in season partners replenishments, edits & cancels based on projected inventory

  • Ensure partner inventory level is healthy with optimized in-stock rates and minimized excess

  • Work with commercial team to ensure Partner sell-out and inventory data is accurate

  • Support with any related planning reporting, i.e., weekly shipment outlook, inventory report, actual sales tracking

What You'll Bring to the Table

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above

Experience:

  • 5+ years in demand planning

  • Background in FMCG; apparel/fashion with wholesale model preferred

  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Merchandising, and Finance

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of demand planning, inventory, and OTB modeling

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

  • Proficient in planning software and Microsoft Office

  • Fluent in English

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management

  • Detail-oriented with ability to handle large datasets

  • Skilled in presenting data clearly and concisely

  • Able to manage multiple tasks under time pressure

  • Proactive, embraces change, and challenges the status quo
