What You'll Do

  • Develop an overall sales strategy that aligns with HEYDUDE's consumer affinities, growth pillars, and marketplace dynamics.
  • Develop objectives for account management, distribution, and new business development to ensure flawless execution.
  • Set clear objectives, targets, and guidelines for the sales team, ensuring they meet or exceed performance standards, including prospecting calls, presentations, negotiations, and order book management.
  • Deliver the financial objectives for the business, including revenue, gross margin, SG&A, OPI, working capital, and inventory turns.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on all critical business metrics to ensure success.
  • Support the GTM strategy and execution for key accounts, including product assortments and marketing activations.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, monitor industry trends, and understand consumer preferences and behaviors to apply insights for current and future business planning.
  • Develop a strong team by acquiring top talent, meeting performance measurements, and mentoring direct reports.
  • Establish and develop important relationships both internally and externally to influence and implement strategic direction.
  • Work optimally with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Marketing, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Human Resources, to ensure strong support aligned with business targets.
  • Lead sales projects aligned with HEYDUDE's central initiatives.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of sales experience, with a required background in the footwear industry.
  • 6 years of management experience, demonstrating strong leadership and mentoring skills to grow a sales team.
  • Experience managing businesses over $100M
  • Strong knowledge of the US retail and wholesale footwear landscape, market trends, and consumer insights, specifically within Family Footwear Channel.
  • Driven to deliver results while considering both long-term objectives and short-term performance.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence collaborators.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills to navigate complex business environments.
  • Comfortable executing and performing in uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Passion and resourcefulness for solving problems through creativity and teamwork.
  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Title: Sales Director 

Salary or Pay Range: $171,000 - $181,000  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
