The Director, DSG, Inc will orchestrate the launch, expansion, and strategic growth of the HEYDUDE brand across the Wholesale channel in North America. This role is pivotal in driving balanced, profitable growth and growing market share through consumer-centric strategies and focused channel management.
What You'll Do
- Build and implement a comprehensive launch and sales strategy aligned with HEYDUDE’s consumer affinities, growth pillars, and marketplace dynamics.
- Define clear objectives for account management, distribution, and new business development.
- Set performance objectives, metrics, and operational guidelines for the sales team.
- Ensure consistent execution across prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and order book management.
- Achieve financial goals including revenue, gross margin, SG&A, OPI, working capital, and inventory turns.
- Monitor and report on key business metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct competitive analysis and track industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Leverage consumer insights to compose current and future business planning.
- Support GTM strategy and execution for key accounts, including product assortments and marketing activations.
- Build and lead a high-performing, engaged sales team.
- Recruit top talent, develop growth through mentoring, and ensure performance standards are consistently met.
- Cultivate strong internal and external relationships to influence strategic direction.
- Partner effectively with Merchandising, Marketing, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and HR to align support with business goals

What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 10–12 years of sales experience, including 4+ years in management within the footwear industry.
- Proven success in a matrixed organization.
- Deep knowledge of the U.S. retail and wholesale footwear landscape, especially athletic specialty markets.
- Goal-oriented individual who can run both long-range planning and short-term tasks effectively.
- Outstanding leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Frequent travel 50%+, overnights, night and weekend work may be required.

Salary or Pay Range: $180,000 - $190,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Explorer persona.
