eCommerce Marketplace Manager

Overview
Lead and execute the growth strategy for online marketplaces, driving sales, visibility, and operational excellence through data, category insights, and digital initiatives. You’ll manage end-to-end operations, oversee a junior team member, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Malaysia and Singapore.
What You'll Do
1. Strategy & Execution

Develop platform-specific growth strategies aligned with business goals.

Identify opportunities for campaigns, bundles, and launches.

Set sales targets, manage promotional calendars, and pricing decisions.

Optimize ad spend for ROAS and GMV growth.

Manage marketplace relationships and campaign participation.
2. Stakeholder & Enabler Management

Liaise with internal teams (planning, merchandising, logistics, etc.) and external enablers.

Oversee product launches, creatives, store updates, and campaign execution.

Ensure SLA compliance and performance improvements.

Build strong marketplace partnerships for brand-first visibility.
3. Performance Management

Monitor KPIs (GMV, traffic, conversions, return rate, etc.).

Conduct business reviews and drive continuous improvement.

Analyze performance reports and act on insights.
4. Listings, Content & Campaign Management

Ensure accurate, optimized product listings and SEO-aligned content.

Plan and execute major campaigns with marketplaces (e.g., 11.11, Pay Day).

Manage flash sales, vouchers, bundles, and exclusive offers.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with supply chain and merchandising to ensure stock readiness.

Monitor inventory health and support operational planning.

Share marketplace feedback to refine product strategies.
What You'll Bring to the Table
-
Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field; MBA is a plus.

5+ years in eCommerce or marketplace operations (Shopee, Lazada, Zalora, etc.).

Experience with third-party enablers and campaign management.

Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Google Analytics, BI tools).

Deep knowledge of SEO, pricing strategies, and marketplace tools.

Proven cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in English and Malay.

Agile, results-driven, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.

Experience managing or mentoring team members is a plus.
