Overview
The Retail Operations Coordinator (Contract period of 6 months) provides administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of retail stores. The role coordinates procurement, store supplies, reporting, and operational activities, while working closely with stores, internal departments, vendors, and external stakeholders to support day-to-day operations and retail projects.
What You'll Do
- Provide daily administrative support to the Retail Operations team.
- Assist with procurement activities such as obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating deliveries.
- Manage store supplies including packaging materials, uniforms, stationery, and operational items.
- Maintain and update retail reports, trackers, store information, and operational records.
- Support stock takes activities and inventory-related administration.
- Manage retail system access requests and maintain user records.
- Coordinate with stores to collect reports, documents, and operational updates.
- Work closely with internal departments including IT, Finance, HR, Merchandising, and Warehouse to support daily operations.
- Support new store openings, renovations, events, training sessions, and operational projects.
- Maintain proper filing and confidentiality of company documents.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, mall management, and external parties on quotations, invoices, permits, applications, and operational requirements.
- Follow up with contractors, service providers, and government authorities on licenses, approvals, and operational matters.
- Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by the Retail Operations Manager.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Good administrative and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Retail operations experience is an added advantage.
