Overview
The Sr. Demand Planner Brazil coordinates activity across the functional and time spectrums to deliver mid/long term Demand Plan to ensure profitable business growth and in-stock levels for Core product. Role will report to local Manager, Customer Operations & Planning Brazil, with a Regional dotted line to Director Wholesale Planning based in the United States.
This includes but not limited to drive cross-functional collaboration with key commercial partners to align upon Demand Plan roll-up and reconciliation with financials, Open to Buy plan, in season coordination and MFP process seasonal hand off to Global Planning teams. The Sr. Demand Planner Brazil will also be responsible to maintain seasonal and monthly plans in o9 Planning tool. The Sr. Demand Planner Brazil will be part of key business reviews with Brazil commercial & merchandising leadership and Global Planning partners.
What You'll Do
· Own the Demand Plan for Brazil in alignment with commercial needs as we approach seasonal buy execution
· Interpret changes in buying process into product investment – both increases and decreases to optimize balance of revenue with inventory in support of corporate revenue and turn goals
· Place enhanced focus on New Product / Key Product initiatives; align and coordinate core carryover seasonal items with core planning and supply teams
· Leader of DP o9 plan creation to all sub channels, delivering monthly milestones on time by working closely with North America Regional Planning leads. Support any system enhancements with testing and data management
· Lead inventory and supply planning to proactively manage in-stock levels
· Propose seasonal and in season stocking strategies to commercial leads to balance margin / revenue generation with optimal working capital levels
· Coordinate actions upstream into supply chain to monitor, adjust and troubleshoot supply lines as well as optimize inventory across Brazil for a given sales channel
· Own and operate local planning tool to manage OTB process by channel; recommend and execute buys accordingly.
· Drive cross-functional collaboration with key commercial partners and leadership to align on final OTB plan
· Proposed various scenarios to commercial leadership based upon inventory turn and promotional activity
· Coordinate the efforts of supply and demand maintaining OTB data elements
· Participate in consolidation needs for North America demand plan
· Coordinate with country commercial leads to communicate key business drivers for month over month changes in demand plans
· Provide monthly updates on Inventory projections to Global S&OP team
· Work closely with Global MFP to understand and shepherd seasonal plans into region-channel enriched plans
· Coordinate activity with regional merchandisers to ensure the priorities and focus of the region-channel is clearly represented in all MFP related tools and updates
· Participate as needed in IBP / Seasonal Plan Alignment and other meetings to represent priorities of Brazil’s sales channels
What You'll Bring to the Table
· Degree in business, supply chain, planning or related field required; exception possible for highly extensive and relevant work experience.
· 5 years planning OTB / Demand experience within a multichannel setting particularly in the apparel / footwear business
· Must speak proficient English and Portuguese
· Familiarization with Inventory and Service level planning
· Experience in Merchandising Financial Planning process and/or Integrated Business Planning
· Must have extensive experience and fluency in Excel tools and functionality
· Experience with MFP, Demand Planning systemic solutions; ideally with o9 Solutions
· Minimal travel expected, <10%
