The Merchandising Specialist - Wholesale and Retail will act as a key support to the Sr. Manager, Regional Merchandising for the Crocs-brand businesses by focusing on the Retail and Wholesale channels in Brazil. This role will act as a credible voice of Brazil Merchandising and support the rollout and expansion of the merchandising vision for Crocs, the industry-leading casual footwear brand specializing in comfortable, fun, innovative and irreverent product lines designed to surprise and delight our millions of loyal Crocs fans and future Crocs fans.
The Merchandising Specialist- Wholesale and Retail will support and scale the global merchandising vision, strategy and assortment plan for both Retail and Wholesale channels and support the regional go-to-market processes. The Merchandiser will help to align the Brazil region to the global Crocs brand by creating a culture that is collaborative, consumer focused, and data driven.
What You'll Do
- Drive Merchandising Insights: Analyze sell-in and sell-through data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks across retail and wholesale channels in Brazil. Translate insights into actionable recommendations to optimize product assortments and channel strategies.
- Support Strategic Merchandising Execution: Assist in the implementation of tools and processes that ensure alignment with the seasonal merchandising strategy, enhancing brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
- Develop Sell-In Materials: Create and maintain high-impact Go-To-Market tools—including product decks, catalogs, and templates—with clear channel segmentation, style prioritization, and storytelling tailored to the Brazilian market.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork: Maintain clear and consistent communication with key regional partners, including Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Retail, and Wholesale teams, to ensure alignment and execution of merchandising strategies.
- Channel-Specific Support: Partner with the Sr. Manager, Regional Merchandising to support DTC and Wholesale teams with tailored assortments, tools, and insights that reflect local market needs and consumer behavior.
- Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor the Brazilian retail landscape to identify product gaps, consumer preferences, and competitor activity. Help inform future product development and assortment planning.
- Performance Reporting: Deliver regular reporting and dashboards on key merchandising KPIs. Provide data-driven insights and drive business growth across channels.
- Strategic Recommendations: Offer analytical support and strategic feedback to the Sr. Manager, Regional Merchandising, helping to craft seasonal line plans and regional assortments that maximize commercial potential.
- Market Launch & Client Presentations: Actively participate in market launch meetings and client presentations, supporting the preparation of materials and ensuring alignment with merchandising strategy and product positioning.
- Showroom & Sample Management: Organize and maintain the showroom and product samples to ensure a professional and brand-consistent environment for internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in merchandising, retail, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of the Brazilian retail market and consumer behavior.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English required
- Ability to interpret merchandising and sales data to support decision-making.
- Experience creating product decks, catalogs, and GTM tools.
- Awareness and curiosity of retail trends and consumer behavior in Brazil.
- Comfortable presenting to clients and internal teams
