Overview

The Senior Manager, Country Merchandising Lead for Crocs Australia serves as the primary merchandising owner for the wholesale business and the "Country Captain" for product and assortment strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director Merchandising ROW, you will set the end-to-end product vision for the market, holding final decision rights on assortments and in-season trade-offs to ensure consumer relevance and sustainable growth across all channels.

What You'll Do

  • Innovate & Think: Act as the Country Captain to define the long-term product vision, safeguarding brand positioning and franchise health while ensuring maximum consumer relevance in the Australian market.
  • Drive: Own the wholesale assortment strategy, including range architecture, pricing, and margin targets, ensuring they meet both partner needs and brand integrity.
  • Manage: Lead the comprehensive pre-season planning process, establishing the strategic framework for franchise planning, depth/breadth strategy, and channel guardrails.
  • Achieve: Drive in-season performance by identifying risks and opportunities, making decisive trade-offs to maximize full-price sell-through and overall profitability.
  • Communicate: Provide clear strategic direction to downstream teams, including DTC-focused roles, to ensure the country-level strategy is executed flawlessly across all touchpoints.
  • Connect: Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Marketing, and Commercial teams to align on execution and maintain accountability for product decisions within a matrixed environment.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Education: BS or BA in business, marketing, or a related field—or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of merchandising experience, with a significant track record of wholesale leadership in fashion, footwear, or lifestyle brands.
  • Background Knowledge: Proven expertise in leading country-level assortment strategy and managing complex product lifecycles.
  • Strong Understanding of: Pre-season and in-season merchandising levers, price architecture, and margin management.
  • Highly: Decisive and commercially minded, with the ability to balance competing brand, consumer, and commercial priorities.
  • Demonstrated Ability to: Navigate and lead within fast-paced, matrixed global organizations while maintaining local market accountability.
  • Ability to: Influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional partners toward a unified commercial goal.
