Overview

The Merchandising Manager, DTC & E-commerce for Crocs Australia is responsible for executing the DTC merchandising strategy with a primary focus on driving a high-performing, commercially optimized e-commerce assortment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Country Merchandising Lead, this role translates brand strategy into actionable buying and trading decisions. As a key driver of digital growth, you will focus on maximizing conversion, sell-through, and profitability across our direct-to-consumer channels.

What You'll Do

  • Innovate & Think: Champion a digital-first mindset by identifying opportunities for online exclusives, testing new product categories, and implementing "test-and-react" strategies to stay ahead of consumer trends.
  • Drive: Own the end-to-end buying and trading process for the DTC business, ensuring the assortment aligns with both the country vision and the broader wholesale framework.
  • Manage: Oversee the full product lifecycle, including flow, depth, and replenishment decisions, as well as executing effective markdown and exit strategies.
  • Achieve: Lead weekly and monthly trading reviews to analyze in-season performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve conversion and margin.
  • Track: Monitor inventory flow and delivery schedules to ensure the right product lands at the right time to meet e-commerce demand and peak seasonal shifts.
  • Connect: Partner closely with Digital, Planning, and Marketing teams to ensure a cohesive brand message and a commercially strong online offer for the Australian consumer.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Education: BS or BA in business, marketing, fashion merchandising, or a related field—or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in retail merchandising or buying, with a significant focus on E-commerce or DTC channels.
  • Background Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Australian retail landscape and digital consumer behavior.
  • Strong Understanding of: Inventory management, open-to-buy (OTB) processes, and the levers required to drive digital profitability.
  • Highly: Data-driven and analytical, with the ability to translate complex sales metrics into clear, actionable commercial strategies.
  • Demonstrated Ability to: Manage product lifecycles in a fast-paced environment, from initial launch through to final clearance.
  • Ability to: Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team, influencing partners in Marketing and Planning to align on shared business goals.
