Overview

The DTC Demand Planner for Crocs is responsible for driving mid and longterm demand planning across both Australia Digital (.com) and Retail DTC channels to support profitable business growth and maintain optimal instock levels for core and seasonal products.

 

This role partners closely with Commercial, Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Supply Planning to align Open to Buy (OTB), pricing, promotions, and inventory execution across channels. The planner supports integrated DTC planning, ensuring cohesive execution between .com and retail while balancing revenue, margin, and inventory objectives.

 

The Demand Planner participates in weekly DTC management sessions and key business reviews, providing data driven insights to support strategic and inseason decision making. The focus is on fully integrating Demand Planning within the DTC organization, driving alignment with commercial objectives and operational excellence across both channels.

What You'll Do

  • Own the DTC demand plan across both Australia Digital (.com) and Retail channels for a defined set of product categories, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and seasonal buy execution.
  • Interpret changes in buying and trading dynamics into strategic product and inventory investments, optimizing revenue, margin, and working capital.
  • Place strong focus on New Launches and Key Product initiatives, while coordinating core and carryover seasonal items with planning and supply teams across channels.
  • Own and maintain pricing and promotional repricing for DTC, partnering with Commercial and Finance to ensure alignment with trading strategy and financial targets.
  • Lead inventory planning to proactively manage in‑stock levels, minimize stockouts, and support promotional and trading activity across .com and retail.
  • Own allocation and re‑allocation responsibilities for DTC, ensuring inventory is optimally positioned across .com and retail stores to support launches, promotions, and in‑season performance.
  • Propose seasonal and in‑season stocking, pricing, and allocation strategies to commercial leads, balancing margin, revenue, and inventory health.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Planning, Merchandising, Retail Ops, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to execute the DTC Go‑To‑Market strategy.
  •  Lead IBP and seasonal alignment discussions, representing DTC priorities across both channels.
  • Own and manage the OTB planning tool for DTC, ensuring data accuracy and alignment of demand and supply inputs.
  • Present data‑driven scenarios to leadership, incorporating sales forecasts, promotional activity, inventory turns, and allocation impacts.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on business, supply chain, planning, or a related field is a prerequisite. Exceptions may be considered for candidates with substantial and directly relevant work experience.
  • Strong experience in demand planning and inventory management.
  • 3-4 years planning OTB / Demand within a Digital commerce environment; highly desirable to be within a multichannel setting particularly in the apparel / footwear business
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Buying & Trading, and Distribution teams. Strong communication and collaboration skills to align with various stakeholders across the business.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to adapt to changes in market dynamics and consumer demand.
  • Data-driven approach to demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and business decision-making.
  • Proficiency in OTB, WOS, and Service Level planning, with a strong grasp Integrated Business Planning.
  • Extensive command of Microsoft Excel and PowerBI, utilizing these tools effectively to extract insights and make informed decisions.
  • Previous experience with Demand Planning systemic solutions (Preferably  09).
