Overview

The Sr. Retail VM/Marketing Specialist enhances the in-store brand experience throughout New York City by implementing Crocs’ visual strategy, leading local marketing efforts, and ensuring stores embody the city’s cultural vibe. This role links global brand direction with local relevance. It manages visual displays, directs marketing campaigns, coordinates collateral installations, and assists with events and product launches. Additionally, it is an integral part to driving store traffic by activating impactful visual stories and marketing events that attract customers and encourage in-store engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Lead in-store implementation and drive consistent execution of the brand’s visual strategy to deliver an outstanding, on-brand customer experience across all local stores
  • Convert global brand guidelines into clear, actionable directives that improve brand presentation while keeping relevance to the New York City market
  • Lead the end-to-end installation of all marketing collateral, including windows, signage, and promotional assets, ensuring precision, timeliness, and executional excellence
  • Partner closely with the HQ Visual team to develop store-specific floorplan merchandising strategies that optimize product storytelling, traffic flow, and commercial performance
  • Be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of in-store events, seasonal moments, and marketing activations, driving energy, relevance, and customer engagement on the sales floor
  • Drive locally relevant in-store activations, including product launches, collaborations, and experiential moments, ensuring seamless execution from concept through post-event recaps
  • Proactively establish and maintain community ties in New York City through collaboration with local partners, creatives, influencers, and cultural organizations to grow the brand outside the store.
  • Support grassroots, on-the-ground marketing efforts in NYC, partnering with marketing and brand teams to bring local campaigns, pop-ups, and neighborhood-specific initiatives to life
  • Act as a primary local brand representative, making sure stores embody the cultural energy, diversity, and rhythm of New York City
  • Continually seek out inspiration, emerging trends, and guidelines in retail, culture, and experiential marketing to evolve product presentation and elevate the in-store experience

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, product merchandising or directly related experience
  • Demonstrated experience crafting engaging and inspiring in-store displays. Footwear experience is preferred
  • Ability to build outstanding presentation solutions for various retail locations that encourage the consumer, drive sales, and align with the Crocs brand voice
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate at all levels of organization
  • Ability to persuade, influence and build consensus among key collaborators
  • Proactive professional, comfortable operating in a rapid environment with a dedicated work ethic and a noticeable passion for the brand
  • We are looking for a proven store experience expert with outstanding influencing skills.
  • Capable of engaging with multiple areas and tiers of the organization, functioning as a creative thought collaborator who can guide decision-making and produce significant results

Title: Sr. Retail VM/Marketing Specialist 

Salary or Pay Range: $67,000 - $77,000 

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Explorer persona.
